Here is a sample tutorial for a small business web site:
LOGIN TO YOUR EASEL:
1) Open Web Browser (Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox 3)
2) Go to: www.YourSite.com/easel
3) Open New Window or Tab: www.YourSite.com
4) Select Options to Manage Web Site and Related Applications
EDIT PAGES: (Dynamic Web Content)
1) Go to Content, Dynamic Web Content, then find the page you wish to Edit / Update and click on “Edit” link next to page title
2) To Add or Edit Content use the Content Management Tools (ex: highlight a word and click the bold button to make it bold)
3) To Add / Edit Links use the Hyperlink buttons (use full address), select Target = New Window for links to other web sites
4) To Add / Change Images, SAVE CHANGES TO CONTENT FIRST, then go back to edit that page again. Select Change This Image, and Browse Computer for jpeg (.jpg) images (Suggested sizes for jpg images are 200 to 400 pixels wide)
Note: If you replace images the old image may show up temporarily until you save the page (click the refresh button on your web browser to view the new image on the web site).
ADD PAGES, SECTIONS & SUB-SECTIONS
1) Go to Content, Dynamic Web Content, then click on Add a Page
2) To Add Pages click on add pages and select the main section and subsection for the new page to go, or add a new section or subsection (it will automatically create a new page – just click on Edit Pages to find your new page). Provide each page with a unique name, and enter content like all other pages. Images and files can be added after each new page has been created. |
