As a small non-profit organization, led primarily by families that were overworked and underpaid, Friends of Rural America needed help.

We attended meetings, made presentations, got direct feedback from family farmers & producers, and engaged in debates with Representatives & Senators including Tom Harkin of Iowa and Paul Wellstone of Minnesota, and still actively support the cause and collaboration to bring higher quality, locally & ethically produced food markets closer to end consumers. |
